KITTIE Drummer To Appear On 'Headbanger's Ball' Special
June 15, 2006KITTIE drummer Mercedes Lander will be appearing on a special edition of MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" as part of a discussion panel on the state of metal today. The episode will be airing on Saturday, June 24 during the show's normal time slot, 10:00 p.m. EST. According to a posting on KITTIE's web site, Lander will be making "some new exciting announcements regarding KITTIE's new album" during the program.
As previously reported, A video interview with KITTIE and three live video clips of the band performing at the Knitting Factory in New York City on their recent U.S. tour have been posted online at LIETV.com.
KITTIE's downloadable EP, entitled "Never Again", was released in February through Rock Ridge Music. iTunes is offering an exclusive four-track version of the EP, which includes bonus track "Everything That Could Have Been".
KITTIE have sold more than a million records since the release of their debut, "Spit", in 2000, which was followed by 2001's "Oracle" and 2004's "Until the End", with several EPs in between.
